This is perfect for those writers and members of the public who just want to experience our conference and social events without the pressure of having your writing evaluated in a writing workshop. WORKSHOP REGISTRATION ONLY (NO housing, NO seminars or events included)

Perhaps you don’t have the time for all the offerings but would love to have your work critiqued in workshop? This option is for those who want workshop critiques but are not interested or do not have the time for the full conference experience. This will give you access to a workshop in your genre where you will have your work critiqued by experts and ensures an educational and electrifying experience. Please let us know your intent to be in workshop well ahead of our final April 24th deadline–we have to arrange for our faculty to prepare! Please email directly with your genre after arranging payment.

SEMINAR PASS ONLY (NO housing, NO workshops, NO events)

Perhaps you just want to learn new craft approaches to writing but aren’t interested in the pressure of having your works critiqued and you don’t have the time or interest in attending evening events? This option gives you access to ALL seminars (you get 10+ for the price of just over 6 seminars) being offered daily in the morning and afternoon by agents, writers, and faculty over the course of the week. This is a perfect option for those who want to learn more about the craft of writing and the agent and publishing industry, but who might not be able to attend all the evening events and are not interested in having their own creative writing critiqued in workshop. These are available at any time all the way up into our actual conference! The small print: All attendees, guests, faculty, agents, editors, and registrants MUST TEST NEGATIVE or SHOW PROOF OF UP-TO-DATE VACCINATION/BOOSTER for COVID. We will do our best to monitor all negative tests (should show negative on first day and we will test throughout the week) and we expect our guests to follow all safety guidelines outlined for group interactions by the CDC. As a reminder, all payments for full enrollment with housing (F2F) cannot be refunded after March 25th (it is likely that the reservation will not be filled, which costs the conference substantial losses). We also cannot offer a refund for full registration (F2F) without housing after April 15th (it is unlikely that we would be able to fill that workshop spot, which also costs us dearly). If you have registered after April 15th, we will refund 50%.

Thank you for being conscientious of our situation: we roll almost all our finances into our financial aid programs and this conference is run by two writers who only want to give back to their community of international writers. Any empty seats or empty rooms are actual tangible losses that come directly out or our pockets (and therefore those deserving emerging writers we bring to Florida!)

There will be a service fee for refunds before these dates ($200 for registrations with housing, $100 for registrations without housing and conference registration without workshops). All other sales are final. 

PLEASE NOTE FOR 2024: In the event of a full conference cancellation, we will offer full refunds or options to register at cost for future conferences with funds from cancelled conference. If we cancel our conference but are able to provide a remote option, we will offer you a full cancellation refund or fair offers for changes to your enrollment options.

All a la carte options are first-come, first-serve, but will remain open throughout the conference. We do fill up so it is a good idea to purchase before the month of May

The smaller small print? We will do everything we can to be fair, but every penny we lose due to late cancellations means loss of opportunities for other writers and impacts our ability to offer financial aid year to year.
